My tires are 11.6 inches wide, the perfect width for mountain roads and they do handle very well in snow. This a consideration for me since I live in the Oregon Cascades. Anything larger would limit my wheel travel on logging roads which I like to travel on. I have also installed Rancho rs9000xl shocks for off road. This size tire requires on trimming and no rubbing what so ever which was a major concern...

The above picture shows the previous tires and the Toyos...

My adjustable shocks...

These tires not be as wide as the 12.5 inch tires most people install corner far better...

I hope this helps...

Heres my 05 fx4 with 35/12.50/18 Cooper STT, 18" Boss 304's, & 2.5" leveling kit. Absolutely no rubbing on this either.

Heres my 2.5 with 35 inch PJs On stock wheels they rub on the frame a lil bit at full lock. If you get the right backspace 35s are no prob at all for a level kit.

2.5" leveled with 35x12.5r20 cooper discoverer stt on 20x9 wheels with 5 inches of backspacing. I had to do quite a bit of cutting to make them fit though
