How big can I go?

I will be replacing my Yokohama Geolanders next week with Toyo Open Country's. They will be going on a 2006 Mk Lt with stock 18" rims.

My question is, what is the largest tire I can put on, without getting into handling issues?

Thanks for your help...

285/65-18 (33x11.50) for a 4x2 or 305/60-18 (33x12.50) for a 4x4 using the OEM wheels.

x2 for the above. Also some have gone to 325 60 18's on stocks, which isn't recommended but I've yet to read any issues with them.

Just put on 285/75/r18 (35")toyo open country at. There is NO rubbing on a bone stock FX4, they handle great, the breaking is great and they are GREAT in snow.

I went with the same size in the Toyo M/T's on stock rims with an AS 2.5 front leveling spacer. Truck looks great and no problems at all with clearance issues.

By chance do you have any pics of your tires yet. I haven't found a pic with these tires installed from a front or rear view shot of the truck. I am just trying to get an idea of how much they will stick out if much at all. Thanks
