And I start over again!!! Death wobble AGAIN!
good idea but I just moved here and havent seen any "tire shops" like back in Brooklyn. All that I see out here is the "BIG NAME" guys sts, mavis, sears.. I didnt see any nails or punchures to be patched though it will be nice to get the slime out of it!
Dismount your tires, remove the slime... air up. Fill a squirt bottle with some soap ( I use Murphy's oil soap, same as I use to mount tires) and hot water. Spray down tire and look for puncture...
if you can't find it, you might call a retread shop like Inter City tire in Elizabeth and they may be able to run it on their NDT machine to check for a puncture... there they can patch it correctly.
I know it sucks taking your truck places to get worked on...
West thanks a lot and trust me if you were close by Id have plenty of ice cold adult beverages for you!!! I would go out and just buy myself a jack, some jack stands and a lug wrench but I dont even think I would have much luck because its all dirt on my property but I do have a crushed stone driveway , both areas I would be pretty scarred to jack the truck up on lol. I do hate bringing it to a shop it feels like I am throwing money away that I could be putting into the truck. I will be ordering the bushings today for the shocks they are only about 3 bucks and Im pretty sure I could do it in my yard, what do you mean my nut and bolt the front end? If you mean go over every nut and bolt I can assure you I have got to every part of it and I was able to drive the truck for the first time last night over 50mph since I tightened the steering up it is a totally different truck now but I still want that damn slime out lol. Your welcome to come by anytime ya like , as a matter of fact anyone with a big good ole ford truck is welcome at my place anytime, (chevys too) I gave mine to my new wife shes driving the silverado now thats lifted 6 inches on 33s and doesnt wobble the slightest bit, I guess I have better luck with chevys but the ford is coming along nice now that I can actually drive the thing.
Big green HOLY ***** thats a truck nice! I have not been driving it because I dont want to screw things up now that it is decent. I have an oppurtunity to get my hands on these tires but I will need to get rims what do you think of 39.5x18x15 boggers you would need 15x12 rims
Yea I am going to pass on those tires and the guy did mention he had to grind down the back of his caliper to fit the 15's but a lot of guys do it for traction? Well I figured if I am gonna spend money Id rather get what I want and I like those tires that look like street offroad tires I think Nitto makes them?
