is this possible?

ok so i have a 2002 F150 4x4

in a local shop i pretty sure i saw "Cooper DISCOVERY" tires that just look awesome

but i was wondering if i could get 285 or 295's with a 16 inch rim, i don't want rims i just want tires...currently im wearing 255/ ? / 16 but i would like some bigger tires

heres what im working with

i AM expecting a new truck come May or June but i really dont want to wait

Yes, you can fit a 285/75-16 or a 295/75-16 on your truck using the OEM wheels.

probably a dumb question whats OEM and i THINK its like considered stock right?

the whole truck is stock except for the tires which have been replaced before obvously

I've seen plenty of stock height trucks on 285's on 16 inch stock wheels. It'll fit fine on 4x4's

The stock tire size will be shown on the data tag inside you driver's door. without the off road package it is probably a 255-75-16. Main concern with a 285 will be wheel width, if your gonna keep the stock wheels. Ihave 285-70-17s on my Expd, same diam and width as 285-75-16, and they fit fine.
