My toyos are on the way!!!
Definitely go with the black/chrome. 35x12.50 Toyo M/T's on 22x10.5 wheels with a 4.8" backspacing is going to be a very tight fit even with a leveling kit. However........ with some trimming/cutting I think you'll be able to make it work.
You surprised me with both of those pics. I've never seen someone ask for opinions of one way or the other and actually have pictures of BOTH SETS mocked up on their truck.
I personally like the looks of black wheels on white trucks (obviously) BUT, in your case, I would say that the chrome would look better. I think that the black wheels, when mounted, won't look the same. In addition to that, I say chrome because of your mirror caps, handles, badges, bumpers, headlights, step bar, and your grill (most likely).
Really though, I think both will look great. The chrome is just that much better.

Thanks for everyone's suggestion. I decided to go with the black wheels. A few beers and a couple hours later and presto...I now have a tonka truck! lol The level kit was an easy install, however, the down side to the 3" is it does stiffen up the front suspension significantly due to the coil spring being compressed and the camber is maxed out and can't be aligned to spec. So it looks like I'll be rotating often. The toyo's do fit if you don't mind doing a little trimming. When I first mounted them, they did rub the front plastic piece under the bumper and the fender well on the backside of the wheel. I had to trim about an inch off each side of the plastic piece under the bumper, and then pull the fender well cover back and trim the butt weld down on the fender well. That allowed me to push the fender well cover back futher and secure it with a screw to give the needed clearance. By doing that, I can turn lock to lock with no rub at all.
So far I'm happy with the toyo's. Suprisingly they are pretty quiet for an mt, drive well, and definately have that mean look to them. Overall pretty good road manners. Now I can't wait to go see how they do in the mud.

Yes, Greg Weld made some nice wheels for sure. They had an auction here in KC to sell off the remaining assets of his business after he passed. I've been selling them on the side and finally got around to putting some on my truck.
