need advice: winter tires and diff size tires at same time

ok, first simple question: what is a good winter tire, size and brand?

moving up to Minot, ND and have never driven in snow in a truck. Keep that in mind. Truck is a automatic 1980 Lariat 9" rear end, 2wd.

second question: if i have 235/75 on the front and 31/9.5 on the front will that affect or damage anything?

Thanks

If it's 2wd different size tires won't cook anything as long as they are installed front and rear and not side to side. You always want to keep OD the same on each side of the axle. By personal favorite snows are Bridgestone Blizzaks, but several good ones are out there. Any winter compound tire is going to be better up there.

Give me a call please and we'll talk your options.
