I'm looking to order some XD series wheels here pretty soon. The wheel is a 17x9, but the backspacing and offset come in two options. I'm mounting a 33x12.50 on these with a 2.5 level. The truck is an '05 4x4.

options are:

17x9
Backspace: 4.5
Offset: -12

OR

17x9
Backspace: 5.71
Offset: +18




wouldn't the -12 offset just mean a bigger lip? Will these stick out to much? An inch or two wouldn't bother me as long as they don't rub.

A 9 inch wide wheel with 4.5 inches of BS will stick out 2.5 inches farther than the OEM wheels. A 5.71 inch BS will make it stick out about 1.5 inches farther than the OEM wheels.
