Okay well I'm in the market for some m/t's and it's between the Cooper stt or kumho mt. I currently have 285/70r17 bfg a/t. I want to keep the same size tire but if I went with the kumhos they don't come in that size. But they do come in 315/70r17. How much bigger is that tire and if I did go with the kumho will they fit on my truck. All I have done to my truck is cranked the torsion bar. That's it. Any input would be great fellas. Thanks.

 

A 285/70-17 is basically a 33x11.50-17 and a 315/70-17 is a 35x12.50-17. A 315/70-17 will fit a 97-03 4x4 (barely) by using the OEM 17x7.5 inch wheels but they will rub the frame slightly at full steering lock. I wouldn't go that large unless you plan on lifting the truck in the near future.
