so which rotors would you guys recommend?

i've always had warping issues the past couple decades and i never knew it may have been from improper torquing of the lug nuts. i'm glad i read this post.

so now that i want to replace my rotors, i'm wondering which rotors to buy.

i see several recommendations in this thread but i also see some retractions of some recommendations.

so which rotors would you guys recommend?

thanks in advance.

I'm very impressed with relatively inexpensive Centric Premium rotors.

The Centrics are better than OEM. The OEM's on the 07's warp like crazy.

Centric Premium.

2wd or 4wd? 6 lug or 7 lug? If 2wd, do you have the 2 piece hub/rotor conversion kits?

Wrong part - that's the hub and rotor kit for the 2wd truck. Cancel your order before they ship if you can.

Buy them from rockauto.com, these are the ones you need:

CENTRIC Part # 12065100
Premium
Front; 4WD; 6 Lug
$56.79

If you are using slip on rotors, make sure you clean the hub real good, a dirty hub will cause rotors to warp fast. Also make sure you clean the rotors, they may look clean out of the box, but clean them anyway.

holy crap!

they shipped them already!

i punched in front brake rotors for my 2007 f150 all the way down to the make, model, cab style, engine size and 4WD! i'm wondering why they're sending me stuff for a 2WD truck!

ok glc, i'm going to check this rockauto site and order them.

thanks man, i will just refuse the package and they will return them. that's one good thing about Amazon, their return policy is top notch!

thanks a million glc!

EDIT:

i just ordered (2) Centric 12065100 Premium Brake Rotor with E-Coating for $59.02 a piece delivered from Amazon.

Amazon also is stopping the old order as as it's being readied for fedex.

thanks again for you help!

wire brush on a drill for the hub works well. I use Windex after all other cleaners to remove what is left behind from degreasers on the rotors.
