I just put on 285/65/18 Nitto TGs and was pleasantly surprised with how quiet they are on the highway.

Well got hooked up at discount tire today. I'm going with 285 70 17 load range E nittos. Reg price is 197 a tire, plus 24.95 a tire for rd hazard warranty. so rough ly 222.00 a tire.
They have a black Friday special of 50.00 off 4 tires, plus they pay for one rd hazard on a tire. After a little haggling I got them to give me rd hazard on all for but they had to pay for two, lol! So they went for it. So I'm getting them for 184.50 a tire shipped and only had to pay for two tire warranties of 50.00 total, so basically got all four with free rd hazard replacements, lol! I thought it was worth it, best deal I found.

Well got the tires mounted on my freshly painted stocks 17's I bought tonight. They actually look pretty darn good, lol! The ride is great with the nittos this time around. For some reason the 305 60 18's were loud, and gave a mushy feeling when driving I didn't like them. The new ones are 285 70 17's ad a E rated and they are quite and ride excellent. The 305's must have been a p rated tire because they are the only size listed on nittos website that do not say p or lt rating.. weird. Anyway I love this set so far!! I will get pics in the next day or so cause right now its pouring rain and its not going to stop for awhile..
