Saleen 23" Wheel question (w/pics to compare)

First off, to the owners of these trucks Hot in every way!!
I was just curious about something. Are all Saleen S331 23" wheels the same?

My main question is why do they stick out past the fender on the red truck, but not as much on the white one? Is it because the white one is lowered, which made them tuck in a little more? Im looking for them to tuck in as much as possible... Thanks!

The red one above is mine, thank you for the compliment. To answer your question, the Saleen wheels come as an offset. 44mm in front and 30mm in rear if I remember correctly. With this being said it makes it to rotate so what some people did was trade wheels with other members or bought other wheels from else where so that all 4 wheels would be the same size (ex. (4) 44mm or (4) 30mm) I hope I explained this correctly. I'm only running my wheels in the summer so I just stuck with the standard package 44mm front, 30mm rear

In this case you would want four rears (30mm) if I'm understanding your question correctly. If you look at one of these trucks from the side you will see that the rear lug nuts sit in more than the front

hey all -
Not sure of all the do's and donts here but i got a question.

PMason - looks like your wheels are black.. or at least not as bright a chrome as others.
What did you do? Im looking for a set of black wheels for my truck and seems like most im finding that i like are chrome, whicj leads me to the question. Shpould i get chrome wheels and try to change them? should chrome wheels be painted? powder coated?
Not at all? I'd love to get a set of these saleen wheels. except in black..

Thanks
