Brake Problem

I have a 98 Ford F-150 4.6L. I've noticed that when ever i press the brake pedal slowly when approaching a stop, the brakes become super sensitive and the front wheels feels like the stop suddenly and my truck skids a few feet. This happens every morning or whenever it rains but during the afternoon time of the day, the brakes work fine - just some mild squeaking.

I've checked my brake pads for the front wheels thinking they have worn out after just replacing them about 4 months ago but they still have plenty of pad on them. I also checked the rotors and there are no scratches and the surface is smooth and not warped.

I'm thinking that the humidity or water is affecting it in some way but don't know how. Any ideas?

Thanks
