Lug nut issue

I just purchased 20" Incubus Poltergeist wheels. The lugs that the guy gave me with the wheels are 2" which doesn't allow me to put on the center cap because they are too long. I purchased some lugs from an auto parts store and the thread was not coarse enough for my truck. I went to a tire/wheel shop and they wanted $100 for the lugs. Is there something out there cheaper thats about 1.5" and will fit on a 2005 F150? I just can't see paying $100 to cover them with a cover. I'm sure there is, but point me in the right direction.

The stock lugs are too big around. They won't fit in the hole of the rim.

Did you buy them off an individual or shop? Whoever sold them to you should replace the lugs on their dime. Who sells a wheel that cannot be mounted with its center cap in place? That’s just stupid.
