rim/tire width question???

im putting a 6 inch kit on my 2001 f150 2wd and i want the tires to stick out about 1 inch from the body. does that depend on the tire or the rim? cause im getting 315x75x16s and the rim im getting is a 16x8? will this setup do what i want? and if not what will???

Almost every lift kit for the 97-03 4x2's increases the front track width a few inches so the front tires are gonna stick out regardless (probably). I'd suggest a 16x8 inch wheel with 4.5 inches of bs, which is whay most people run on 4x2's.

okay. sweet. cause i cant find to many rims that arent 16x8. since the kit makes it stick out in the front will they be wider than the back????
if so can i get a wheel spacer to fix that?

Most people just leave it like that. I'm not a huge fan of spacers.
