Question Need your Opinions

A friend of mine has an 06 STX 4X4 that is blue. He likes how everyone with black trucks does the black out thing. He is seriously thinking about painting his 7005 Pro Comps dark blue to match his truck. I don't think it would look so hot but it's just one mans opinion. So what do you guys think?

I'm picturing a big blue berry..

Tough call, maybe post a pic of his truck on here and maybe one of the photo shop guru's will hook you\him up with a pic of how it might look.

I'd have to go with no. And I would certainly go with the photoshop option, I can't imagine how much the "blue mistake" would cost if he did it and then decided he didn't like it.

I don't think it would look good. Maybe some blue accents on the wheels would look good. I'd try photoshopping it first for sure.

Black rims on a dark blue truck look good. Black rims on a DSG truck look really good!!! However, dark blue rims on a dark blue truck will look out of place because it is not a color people are used to seeing on a set of wheels.

There is a used car dealership in downtown Houston which sells Dodge Chargers and Dodge Magnums with matching wheels. The cars are low riders with huge rims and they look "different" to say the least. (I am being politically correct, here...)

I would go with a black wheel and look into getting some dark blue accents. Would look pretty sharp

Thanks for all your input. I think I've talked him out of it.
