Will This Work ??

Im wanting to upgrade to 40s and they are 40X13.5 R17 so that means i would need new rims bc i have 18s right now on 37s.... Just trying to get ideas and got some links for you guys to look at and im not familiar with rims and how the backspacing works and the offset so im just asking you guys for opinions and options here...so saying that will 17s work on my 05 FX4 and what backspacing should i use and offset sense im wanting to fit 40s in my wheel wells here is a picture of the truck now to show you how much room i have.. I realize i may have to do some trimming but thats ok. Any suggestions chime in. Thanks Guys. Id rather go black but if there are some rims you think that are fairly cheap that would look good on these grapplers in 17s post em

Rims im looking at or like :

I like the Pro COmp 7005's and the Balistic Jesters. I'd try to find a 9 inch wide wheel with close to 5 inches of backspacing.

Offset and backspacing are just two different ways of measureing the same thing. BS is just much easier to understand.

I know procomp extreme mud terrains you can get in a 40/13.5/18, they kinda resemble the toyos.

I would say get the ballistic jesters, there a really cool wheel but only work with certain trucks imo, and I think they would look really sick on your truck. Second choice would be the pro comp 7005's.

yeah those are my top 2 choices bc id rather go with black rims but i like the jester not only the design but the red in them it goes along with the FX4 sticker as well as my big red coilovers
