BMF Novakane

I posted this in the 09 section but thought I would post it here too. I installed my 20" BMF Novakanes in the Death metal black finish on my 09 F-150 this last week. The new rims totally changed the truck. I have 285/55/20 Nitto Terra Grapplers on these rims. The rims have 5" BS with 0 offset and I have no lift or leveling kit. I have about 1/2" clearance between the front valance, a couple inches of clearance between the upper control arm but they do rub just a little against my mudflaps when the steering if at full lock. If I had no mudflaps on, they would clear. Heres some pics.

Looks perfect! If I were in the market for wheels the BMF Novakanes would be my first choice.

They look great, one of the best looking wheels out there. I would recommend losing the mudflaps and getting a 1.5" leveling kit.

Wonderful choice.

I think the difference looks "worse" or greater in the first picture simply because of the angle of the pic. In the second one, it's not near as noticable.

Can't lose the mudflaps. Too much gravel road travel and snow and salt in the winter months. In the spring the gravel roads turn to slop, so I'm trying to protect the paint. If I lived on blacktop I would consider taking them off but here in Iowa they are a neccessity I believe.

I'm still undecided on the level kit though.

I like the tire and wheel choice, as they go very well with your truck. I also agree you need to level the front to even it out.

I had the local tire shop order the rims and tires for me. Took a little longe to get the right ones since the first set they ordered in where the chrome version. Beware these rims were not cheap.

Man I love these rims. I just wish they were in the price range of most black rims
