Should I replace my brake lines since I'm putting on new rotors and pads?
I have a 2003 Ford Expedition, so it's 6 years old with 115,000 miles. I have bought new brake rotors and pads, and am wondering if I should replace the brake lines (lines have never been replaced before) while I'm at it even though they still work fine? I'm thinking I should since the 6 year old rubber lines are probably worn, even though they still function. I would replace with OEM rubber lines, I've heard too many bad story's about stainless steel lines.
