I searched but could not find the exact answer I'm looking for.

I bought some 2004 FX4 wheels to use as my winter wheels for my 09Lariat. I'll be putting some blizzaks on as I live in Alberta Canada. I do not wish to shell out close to $300 for TPMS sensors. My question: is it only the TPMS symbol that gets lit up or will my message centre have a remark every time I start up?

Why do you think it would cost 300 for extra sensors. Part number 9L3Z1A189A at Tasca for $34.34 each. That includes the valve stem. Only other thing you would need is to spend about $20 for the sensor rest tool. Part number 8c2t1a203ab.

 

Because that's what they cost in Canada - $260 to $290 for four sensors.
I'm going to check the shipping cost from the US if they are that cheap down there.
