2" leveling kit. 33's or 35's ??

Hello,
This is my first New Thread. I have a 07 F-150 Super Crew. I just installed a 2" leveling kit and just got some factory 18's. Need some input and some pics of your truck with 33's or 35's to help me decide on what to do. I'm also looking at some Toyo Open Country M/T or some Cooper Discoverer STT M/T. Any complants or opions on the two would be great.

Thanks, 07BlakeSC

IMO I think 35's would look best, however, if you're going to be doing a lot of offroading with just the level kit, you may want to consider aftermarket rims with 33s... they'll be a lot easier to turn with stock gears if you're slinging up some mud trying to get through a tough spot. But you can fit 35s fine with those stock 18s, no issues... look at this thread here: https://www.f150online.com/forums/20...installed.html

All he has is a 2" level kit and an add a leaf (aal)... I had exchanged emails before with him and he said he didn't rub much at all w/ the 35s. Keep in mind, you'll need to stick with those stock 18's you just got to help fit those 35s in there and keep from rubbing. I have a 3" body lift and a 3" level kit (wouldn't recommend the 3" LK tho, too much stress on suspension) and 35s on aftermarket 17's and they rub on the lower part of the front valence, b/c the rims don't have the backspacing like stock ones do, so they stick out farther. Nothing bad, usually only when backing and turning when on a hill and when planets align

35's all the way! 33's look good, but 35's really fit the truck and complete the overall look and really make it look good and tough :D

2" Leveling kit on mine and 35" Pro Comp Xtreme MT's.

35's for sure. I've got a 2" with Procomp xtreme At's. If I could figure out how tho get to my old gallery I could post a pic.

33s, 35s are overkill on a non lifted truck. Both tires you listed are excellent, the STTs being $100 cheaper.

35's look great imo

If I didn't have aftermarket wheels I'd have 35" Toyos...

I love how 35s fill the wheel wells.

33s look good without rubbing but 35s look alot better but i had to trim my plastic inner fenders a little but you might be able to get a diffrent backspacing than what i put on mine

35" I have 33's now and used to have 35's needlesss to say im going back to 35's

Or if you are interested in the Toyo Open Country MTs you could go for 34" tires... 2" leveling kit and no rubbing and no trimming...

Go with 35s. Here is a pic of my old truck. '06 with aftermarket 17x8s, 5.5 bs with 315/70/17s.

Very good question(s) you asked so I will give you my opinion.

33 vs. 35 on an F-150 with ONLY a leveling kit...go with the 33. You will have no worries on rubbing, and it will look more proportionate than a 35, but that is MY opinion. Look at the pictures up there and decide for yourself, but to ME, a 35 is to big for a non-lifted 150. Heck, I have a F250 with the front leveled and then an additional 2 inches all the way around and have 33's and they look just fine.

As for the brand, I have only had the Toyo MT's and I think they are one of the best, if not the best. Now, I've only had them on a diesel so cannot tell you about road noise due to the engine, but I've never heard them. They ride smooth and wear good and look bad A$$! As for AT's, I had BFG's and I got more miles out of them than any other I ever had.

So there is my opinion, now I want to ask the guys that have the XD Monsters if they are a +18 and if they have any pics from the front/rear to see how far they stick out.
