Exclamation AHHHHH What Am I Doing Wrong?????

Ok I've been trying to get my drivers side rear rotor off for the past 2 days. Ive sprayed it with a ton of PB blaster and ive been hitting it with a rubber mallet and using a crow bar on it and it wont budge. To make sure.... The only thing that needs to be removed off a rear brake rotor for it to come off is the brake caliper right??

Did you adjust the e-brake so it is not as tight. Adjusts just like any drum brake. Other than that, it is probably frozen to the hub.

good luck, patience is a virtue, i'd rather a stuck rotor than a broken hub/axle

I've been trying to get mine off also and can't seen to break it loose. Is there much of a risk damaging a wheel bearing by hitting it with a small sledge?

I would try some heat and a biger hamer. My buddy had the same problem on his 2000 f150 front rotors. Ford is known for using such tight fit on their rotors. Good luck.

P.S. I have to asume you are buying new ones so hit it like you have at set.
