Need tires before long ????.........

Ill be going with 10.50s on a 15 inch rim....

Not sure as to what brand or type of thread.....
I drive across a mountain here going to and from work, and when it snows it gets slick up there....

What do I need to buy thats good in the snow and mud, but not real noisey on the road ?....thanks...

I have heard good things about the new Goodyear duratracs in those conditions, they make them in a 31X10.50R15LT. Not sure how tall your looking to go.

10.50s are about all I need, truck sets up high enough for me.....lol...

The 10.5 refers to the width.....31 is the height measurement he mentions.

I live in the Oregon Cascades and we do get the snow, rain, and ice. The tires I chose were the Toyo Open Country MTs. Very quiet for an MT. Deeply siped for packed snow, rain, or ice. It's an outstanding tire for those conditions...
