New Tire Time Again :(
New Tire Time Again :(
Well its almost time for new tires on the 370,000 mile ford the last set was 285/70/17 BFG Km2 Mud Terrains Which I loved the look of but dont like the tread life at the time I replace I will probably only have 17,ooo miles on them
. Anyways I am looking at a less aggressive tread like the BFG All terrains in load range E since I tow everyday. Now my question is the last set was around 33's since then I have added aftermarket wheels stick out about .75 in more, Cranked the t-bars to gain two inches, and the back has a 2.5in add a leaf. My question is can I fit a narrow 35 on the truck I do plan on lifting the truck next spring and will probably get new tires around thanksgiving

Thanks wandell. I do have aftermarket wheels though from discount tire and I looked up the specs they have the same backspacing and width? so would these work too? Iam asuming I would have to trim the front valance a little which is ok
I have a set of bfg all terrains on my sport trac and they have lasted 25,000 so far and they still look good. I think I wear threw them from towing a trailer everyday and all the tight turnarounds I have to do in neighborhoods
First off, I am very surprised the KM2s did not last very long, this is contrary to what others are getting. BFG ATs have great wear and life. They have been known for this and it is the reason why so many people have been running them for so long.
Well to be very fair they were awesome tires. Reasons I can think they wore quickly. I corner fast, offroad every weekend, tow a trailer daily, with work constantly making tight turn arounds in neighborhoods. I think all those would contribute to them wearing fast not sure though
