Dunlop Rover Maxx Traction
Dunlop Rover Maxx Traction
I finally got rims and tires to match the 2 inch lift Bilsteins. Discount tire has a sale $100 off any set of tires or rims so I got the MB Motoring 72s, black with crome lip, 17 X 8.5, and Dunlop Maxx Traction 315/70/17. The tires howl on the highway, I expected this, but ride smooth. The tires don't rub but I haven't tried turning really hard either. I'll post some pics this weekend. Also the 315 tire and 3.73 gears is not as bad as everyone made it sound. It's pretty flat here in Ohio but the acceleration isn't much slower than stock. Though I imagine it would suck towing anything.

If they do rub you will prob be rubbing the front left side in reverse on your front valence, thats what alot of people with 35's and leveled trucks seem to run into. But nothing a little bit of trimming cant take care of.
Was going to get Toyo Open Country MT or Gy Wrangler Duratrac, but now planning on getting these soon in 275/70R18. Reviews are good. Performance and design is similiar to the Duratrac. I read Dunlop is owned by Goodyear and that the tires were designed very similiar and use the same carcass- not sure if that's true or errornet.
