Hello from a noob - and photo request
Hey, y'all.
I've got a 2002 F-150 SuperCrew Lariat 2wd and am totally in love with my truck.
I'm interested in new tires - everything on my truck is totally stock, save for a LineX bed liner and Husky Liner floormats. Oh yeah... I added a GPS.
I am a commercial diver for a living, and this truck is absolutely great for work.
I have been very happy with the truck's OEM BF Goodrich Long Trail T/A tires, and so I put a second set on my truck when the first set wore out.
The new Long Trail T/A "Tour" doesn't really look like something I'd be interested in... I hear great things, but am considering moving up to a "beefier" tire that will hold better on wet landings when hauling a boat.
Since the BFG Radial All-Terrains don't come in the factory 275/60/R17's, I could opt instead for the 265/65/R17's that came on 4wd SuperCrews. I'm confident that it'll fit and know that that's the correct sizing change to keep ratios and the speedo correct.
Anyway, I'm interested in seeing a photo of a last-body-style SuperCrew (preferrably 2wd that's a little lower than the 4wd) on a set of 265/65/R17 All-Terrains. Certainly someone's done this before... Anyone got a pic?
