Given wrong information?

Hey all. A good freind of mine took a trip to Florida to see some of my relatives over the weekend. While we were there my cousin took his 275/65/20's off his 07 FX4 and got new wheels and tires and had his truck lifted. He gave his stock tires and wheels to my buddy for a hell of a price. He has an 06 F-150 XLT w/ 255/70/17's. My cousin assured us they would not rub on the XLT without a Leveling Kit but I'm not sure. What do you think? Will my buddy have problem?

Pretty sure stock tires would've been 275 55 20s and not 275 65 20s. The 65s will rub if you don't have a leveling kit up front. Even then, it may rub a little at full lock.

If he has a 4x4, a 275/65-20 would probably fit without a leveling kit if he uses OEM wheels. They are basically a 34x11.00-20 tire.
