first, thank you to those who replied to my previous question. i greatly appreciate the help. i now have another question about my 2000 f150 lariat 4WD. i would like to know how big of a lift i would need to have to clear 35 inch tires?? i would like to get 35/12.5/15 or 17. thank you for all the help.

 

A 3" body lift would work.

 

6 inch suspension or torsion bars turned and 3 inch body lift, 15 inch rims don't fit on these models so stick with 17 but you could go to a 16

 

Right. With aftermarket wheels, a 3 inch body lift will allow you to fit 35's.
