Tire mounting question

Can I mount a 265/75r16 on a 16x10 wheel or is the tire too narrow for that width of rim? I only ask this because I want to get new rims and tires but can only afford the rims right now and my current tires have a lot of tread left. Also Fabtech suggests running a rim with a 3.75" backspace but I seem to only be able to find ones with 4.25" backspace at the lowest. Would 4.25" work?

A 265mm wide tire is too narrow for a 10 inch wide wheel. Also, I'd suggest an 8 inch wide wheel on a lifted 4x2 because the front track width is increased a lot, which will make 10 inch wide wheels stick way outside the wheelwells. I really can't understand how Fabtech came up with that backspacing recommendation sine the OEM wheels and almost all the aftermarket wheels for our trucks have 4.5 inches of bs.
