New To The Forum

Hey hows it goin yall.. i have a question for those who are running 38"s, i'm currenty running 35"s and i get 17 mpg mix city/hwy what would i get running 38"s and 4.88 gears? i drive like a grandpa. the reason im asking is cuz im stuck between either getting new 35x14.50's or buyin gears and upgrading to 38"s. but i wont upgrade unless i can get 15. thanks for your time and heres some pics of my truck.

i think if you go with 4.88's an 38's mileage shouldn't change that dramatically, considering you said you drive like a grandpa.

you should be good with 4.88's and 38's i dont think 15MPG is out of reach.

id say 12-15 MPG.

Dude, your truck is BEGGING for 38's, with the gears and your driving habits, 15 is not unreachable.

You're not going to get 15mpg driving like a grandpa with 38's, my truck with stock gearing and 285's could barely get that on a good day. With that said, if you're even thinking about going bigger, do it, because you won't regret it. You're probably gonna be looking at about 12-13 mpg average with those gears and tires
