37's and balancing issues

I just had my 37" tires and 20" wheels mounted and balanced today and the shop told me that they could not get them balanced. They said that they were calling for too much weight to be added, or something like that. He said to just give them a try unbalanced, but if they were really bad, bring them back and they could try adding something inside the tire. Has anyone else had this issue, or did I pick the wrong tire shop? Thanks

It has to be one or a combination of two things. Either you have a bad tire(s) or the shop doesn't know how to balance large tires. I'd try another shop. They may be trying to sell you on Equal or one of the other balancing compounds.
