Ok so i just got back from the ford dealer wear i dropped my truck off for a oil change and oil change and to check out a squeek that i thougth was coming from my U-joint. Well i just stopped in there and they told me that they broke off two of my passenger side rear lugs while they were taking the tire off! Well i thought it would be as simple as just re-lugging but they are claiming that there is some sort of extra plate on there to add aditional backspacing and to extend the lugs to fit the tire! And they cant locate the part so they wont give me my truck back! I have no idea what this plate could be that they speak of! Its not the first tires i have had on these lugs i had some with more backspacing also. Im currently running 4.5 inches backspacing but i had more backspacing before. But now ford is saying that my wheels which are KMC monster 18x9 with 4.5 backspacing cant fit on the stock ford lugs on the F-150! Is this just crazy or am i missing somthing! I know theres a lot of people on here with a similiar setup, did yall have to get this so called adapter or extender?

I can say this ill never bring my FORD truck to a FORD dealer again! there idiots!!!!!!!

 

That doesn't really make sense to me either, never heard of that being stock
