Exclamation Whopping Noise when touching Brakes.

I just put a Pro Comp 6inch Suspension Lift and when i press on the brakes its making a Whopping noise outside the truck in the tire region. I would like help on trying to figure out what this noise is to get it fixed.

When you say a whopping sound, is it repetitive (like a warped roter does) until you let off the breaks or is it a one time sound each time you use the breaks?

The very first thing I would do would be to look for any rubbing or impact marks, scuffing etc. Curious if it could be a ball joint or something lose and the change in acceleration makes it jump around in the spendle?? Any noise if coasting and hit hole etc? Have you double checked all your torque values after initial install and a few mile put on it? Also what condition are your cv joints in, if a joint is going bad sometimes you will here stuff like that whith changes in acceleration positive or negative also in cornering?

I would think if it was your rotars it would have done it before the lift was installed. Did it do it as soon as you were done installing the lift and not before? What are the angles on your CV joints like? By increasing the angle of the joint it adds stress to it, if it was already old it may be poping on you....
