After a month of bad luck finding wheels I finally got them today.

Ordered rubber today... but 30 minutes after I place the order I get a call back saying that Cooper is outta 305/40/22 Zeons so I have to wait 3 weeks for them to make more tires.

Also started machining new center caps tonight at work. They are gonna be mostly black with a little silver and they will cover the whole lug nut area

 

Sweet looking wheels! What brand, model, and size are they? Nice fab work on the center caps...wish I had that ability! Lets see some pics when you get them installed!

These rims look 10x better than the last you ordered, or tryed to. I think they look great w/out center caps, but they should turn out pretty cool too.

 

Im actually finishing up the 1st center cap tonight. Got in around 5 hours of machine time and about 2 hours of design time. The GEAR alloy logo will go across the center bar and there will be 12 allen head screws around the outside flat part to match the ones on my gasdoor.

 

 

what color will they be?

 

Everything will be black except the dome area under the crossbar, and the outer most surfaces of the outer 8 points.... those will be silver. Kinda gonna look like the ones in my sig, silver spokes, black lip and center

 

I like the design on the center cap and love the concept as a whole, but like quoted above the rims already look great. I guess I will have to see them on to get the full effect. Good work man!!
