Mickey Thompson ATZ. To me, its kind of in between an M/T and an A/T. Plus you can get alot more miles out of them vs an M/T style tire and much quieter as well.

Yah ive peeked at them a few times. I like them better then the terra grapplers. Id say the price probably isnt that much different. Ive had offroad tires before and was happy with them other then the noise, which wasnt horrible, but still there. I guess i should just buck up and do it. If i dont like em, i wont get them again!

I was really happy with them. They are directional, so they have a V pattern to them. I think that's what helps them with road noise.

They also last quite a while. I was VERY hard on them and they lasted around 25-30K miles.

They are a very good looking tire too.

If you want something in between an A/T and M/T I think you should look at the Procomp Xtreme A/T's. I ran them for about a year and I loved them, they ran great both on and offroad. And they have a 40k guarantee.

I Hear you on that one. I've had my BFG AT KO's for 4 years/40K miles and they still have plenty of tread left on them. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, I got 70k miles out of my OEM BFG Long Trails.

I went from 35x12.50,17 Claws to 38x15.5x20 Toyo's and the toyo's ride a LOT WORSE than the Claws did.

I also put in a 3" Body lift and some wheel spacers though. I wouldn't think that the body lift would affect the ride any, not sure about the wheel spacers though.

I also don't know how the size change would affect the ride.

So I"m not sure if this post has a purpose or not.

the wheel spacers KILLED my ride. I took them off a few times and drove and ALL my vibrations and harsh ride went with them.

The bigger tires do come with a slight rougher ride cause with bigger tires comes bigger voids even if its the same tire just different size.

and yeah your most did have a purpose lol
