How big of tire can I put on?

Hey fellas. I have a 2008 stx 4.6l v8 4x4 with the 17" stock rims. I recently ordered a hell bent steel 2.5" leveling kit and my question is how big of tire can I put on my truck so that they don't rub, fit my stock rim, but look badass! The truck isn't lifted and will only have the leveling kit. Also what is a good tire? Let me put it this way...i'm looking for a quality tire at the lowest price possible. I'm not lookin' to go out and spend 250$ a tire. I just want big tread at an affordable price. Help me out guys!

Yep, 35x12.50's are the largest you can fit, but they will rub the control arms slightly at full steering lock. As for tires, I'd suggest a quality all terrian tire like the BFG AT KO, Nitto Terra Grappler, Toyo AT, **** Cepek FC II, Pro Comp Xtreme AT or Mickey Thompson ATZ.
