Back Spacing Question

I'm sure it has been asked but I have not found it. I got a 06 F150 Extcab 4X4. I have decided too either order a Set of Moto951 18X9 wheels still undecided on tire brand, but I don't understand the backspacing. I read some articles on google and understand some of it. I figured I could ask the pros here and find out what backspacing is needed on my truck, I looked at 4wheelparts.com and found the wheel there with 3 different back spacings 4.53 5.71 and 6.18 I don't mind if the tires stick out a bit, or does the backspacing even effect how far they come out? What I have found here is a lot of 5's and 6's backspacing. I plan on going with a 305 60 18 tire size. Yes I plan too order the front end lift and the rear block for my truck, all this week. I'm going out tomorrow too give the local shops a chance too give me some prices.
Also is the 4wheelparts.com a good place too order. Or does anyone have a place they like better.
Thanks
Bill

Yes, bs affects how much the wheel sticks out or tucks in. In the case of the MM wheels, a 9 inch wide wheel with 6.1 inches of bs will stick out about and inch farther than the oem wheels. The one with 5.7 inches of bs will stick out about 1.5 inches farther than the stock wheels and the one with 4.5 inches of bs will stick out about 2.5 inches farther. With the 305/60-18's (33x12.50) I'd go with the model with 5.7 inches of bs.
