Question for Kingfish.........

Sorry, but I've searched the forum and only ended up confused as to the proper air pressure to run in my new shoes.

They are Nitto TG's 305/55R-20. These are not the LT tire. The max air pressure rating on the tire is 50 PSI, but Discount Tire set them at 35. After what I've read it seems it should be somewhat higher, but I would simply be guessing. Can you help me out, please

If this question is for Kingfish, why not just send him a private message?

Just to reply here for info, 35 on those tires is not a bad number for daily driving, as they have a fairly high load rating for extra load passenger car tires. If carrying a load, I would use 40 more for sidewall support that load carrying. You may even want to try that for daily to see if it improves handling. Just keep an eye on tread wear to see if that is too high or too low.

Thanks for the info, Kingfish! I think I'll bump 'em a bit and see how she rides and keep an eye on how they are wearing.
