Aftermarket wheel owners, quick question.

Aftermarket wheel owners, quick question.

Well guys, after about four months of waiting, the guy at 4WP finally called and said that my wheels finally came in. I don't know if any of your local 4WP does alignments but I don't think mine does and I don't think I'll be finished with 4WP in time to make it to my alignment shops before they stop accepting appointments. Will I be all right without it being aligned until Saturday?

An aftermarket wheel does not require an alignment.

Any suspension work? Leveling kit, lift etc? If no, you're fine.

Well here's the thing, I put on a 2" AS about a month and a half ago and I did notice that the alignment was a little off, but I was just going to wait until my wheels came in and then I was going to get the truck aligned altogether. I was under the impression that an alignment was necessary with new wheels & tires so I didn't want to get it aligned after I leveled it with my stockers and then have it aligned a second time with the new wheels. If I had known at the time that no alignment was necessary with new shoes I would have done it when I leveled it so i wouldn't be in this situation.

haha, yeah if yo have the As kit then go get an allignment.

but yes, you should be fine for a couple of days.

You should be ok if you have been driving around for 6 weeks and haven't noticed anything drastically wrong with your ride.
