tIRES TO STICK OUT

what would i used to have my tires stick out ofthe body about 1-2 inches? i saw a f150 with the wheels out and looks real sporty...

Use a wider wheel or one with less backspacing.

go with 4.5 or so inches of backspacing, get a 12.5 inch tire.

you'll be lookin good!

What specs he needs depends on what kinda truck he has.

yeah, i just assumed NBS, my bad.

What i said was only for a leveled 2WD or stock/leveled 4WD (NBS), my bad man!

I bought some 17x9 wheels and my tires now stick out a good 1.5"- 2" past the fender and I absolutely love the way they look. My tires are 285/70/17, but I do not think that has anything to do with it...it's all in the wheel size. Factory wheels are I believe 7 or 7.5 so definitely go with 9's to achieve the look you're after.

Get a 10" wheel with around a -25 offset. Your factorys have like a +30 offset

i have 17x9's w/ 4 5/8 backspacing i think. there something close to 4 1/2" tho i know for sure. they stick out a few inches. gives it a good look

yes it is. i washed my truck tuesday or wednesday and its been raining for the past few days and now my trucks all dirty again. and when i go offroading i get mud on my roof, hood, windshield, if i leave the windows down it gets in the truck

my fronts stick out alot (about 2 inches past the flares) , even with the flares its a biotch to keep clean, but it's SOOO worth when i didn't, holy crap

I got 35x13.5x18 u don't want tires stick out,they just throw rocks side of truck ouch! In my gallery I got picks of tires. just my opinion[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

Yea I have tons of chips in my paint from my 305/65/17 on 17x9 with 4.5" of backspacing.
