Backspacing question..

I am currently running a 6" fabtech lift with 35x13 terra grapplers and 18" wheels. I am not very happy with how far out they stick in the front so I am getting new wheels. My question is.. Can I run a wheel with +18 offset/5.71 backspacing? The only other option I have is -12/4.53 and I have a feeling that will look exactly the same as what I have now! Any help would be great.

Most lift's require a 9" wheel with 5 inches of BS. Check with the lift manufacturer and see what their wheel specs should be.

Fabtech was no help. They said exactly that..5" backspace/9" wheel and that's all they know. Still doesn't answer my question as to whether or not a 5.71 will work or not. I can't imagine it would make that much difference. Wish I could test mount a wheel or something..

keep in mind too much backspacing is going to cause rubbage where you can't trim...

If I were you I'd keep it like it is. They don't stick out much at all. IMO it makes the truck look more aggressive. You won't be able to run a +18 with the terra grapplers, they're to wide of a tire and will most likly rub. Your factorys are +30, so +18 will still stick in a good bit. A 0 offset and your wheel will be flush with the outer fender. If you get them to stick in to much your truck will look tall and skinny like it'll want to flip over.
