Weak stopping power lifted Screw help????

I put new pad and rotors on my 01 Screw bled the system and the brakes seem weak. I let them break in for the first 150 miles and now I had to stop suddenly on the freeway and the pedal feels ok but if I push it as hard as I can it will not lockup or hit ABS? It just does not stop good at all and I put some good pads on from kragen. I had a expedition that had the same setup lift ect... and it stopped 10x better.

All I can think is it might be the master cylinder because thats all that is left and the truck has 150k on it? Never had one wear out so any help you guys could give me would be great!

And yes I know how to bleed brakes...

Thanks Dave!

If it were the master cylinder then the pedal would not feel right. If the Master Cylinder is reducing your braking it means the master cylinder must be leaking around the pressure seals... your pedal would feel soft and it would go to the floor (immediately to the floor for a big leak, slowly to the floor for a slow leak)

Same thing if you have a brake line leaking... the pedal would go to the floor.

It sounds to me like it has to be your pads or your rotors. Maybe your pads are glazed??? Try roughing them up with some sandpaper.

Double check the front brakes. They do provide 60-70% of the stopping power.

Did it work? If it doesn't work, you should probably take it to a brake shop. There is not much else to offer over the internet... sometimes you just have to see it first-hand.
