Ruined a tire yesterday.

On my 50 mile drive into work yesterday morning I went around a piece of what looked like some type of pipe laying in the road about 2 miles from where I work. Missed it with the front tire but it kicked up under my truck and went through the pass rear tire. Ruined a BFG AT that I've been running over 3 yrs. No matching tire around the New Orleans area. Lucked out and found a tire shop that had a used Pro Comp AT 35x12.5 got it mounted and balanced for $25 buck's, even bought a second one for $15 more buck's for a spare. Look's like a good excuse to get new tires! First time using my spare in 5 yrs since I bought the truck new and lucky I had a floor jack with me.

Thats unfortunate, however quite a steal on that pro comp A/T.

How many miles did you have on your tires anyway?
