Question ABS Problem on 2001 Supercrew

I just did a break job on my 2001 Supercrew: new pads, turned rotors, flushed brake line (and replaced bearings and seals while I was in there). When I brake hard the pedal gets soft and I can barely get stopped. The ABS system does not pulse the brakes at all, it's like the ABS system just disables the front bakes.

I pulled the fuse for the ABS system and I can get the wheels to lock, and the brakes work as they should, just minus the ABS.

Does anyone have any ideas or have seen this problem?

you have air in the system, how did you bleed the brakes? did you do the pump hold and open the bleeder screw on all 4 several times? if so you probably have an air lock in the abs pump, those can be hard to get out, you may have to take it to a shop that can hook up a scanner and do a cycle bleed, you may have to bleed the brakes alot like 2 bottles of brake fluid worth.

Yes......pump, hold, open bleeder valve on all four multiple times. I did notice air bubbles on the two front so I bled those a few more than the rear. I ran over half a 32 oz. bottle of fluid through. I will bleed them again and see where that gets me. Would it be sufficient to bleed the front brakes or should I do all four again?

None of the lights were on. The ABS light is on when I pulled the fuse to the system but not at any other time.
