thinking about baja claw tires

I am going to need a new set of tires really soon and I am probably going to get the nitto all terrain tires in the same size I currently have(305x70r16)

but I saw some baja claw tires the other day and thought they looked pretty cool, can anyone or a group of you convince me as to why they would be better that the nitto all terrain tires, seeing as based on looks alone I would probably get them, I just want to know whether or not they will last as long if not longer than the nittos(I dont know how many miles mine lasted my odometer stopped working at about 150k miles and that was about 5 years ago and I had the tires about a year before that.) Also should I just get a size bigger since I put a 3 inch body lift

PS this is a daily driver/ranch/beach truck

the Claws wear pretty fast. You can get 30k out of them if you keep them balanced and rotated. as well as maintain the right amount of air. But ive seen sets bald at 10k and sets last up to 33k so its all how you take care of them.

If you have a 4x4 with a body lift then go up to a 35" tire. It will look better than 33's

My final opinion on the Claws, there is better choices out there and there are worse choices aswell. I would go with the Claws over the Nitto's but thats just me.

I agree. THere are much better choices than the Claws. Also, if you are looking at the regular Claws, the bias ply version, I would never put them on a daily driver.

Or if you want a mud tire the MTZ would be better than the Claws.

i got the claws 325/60/18s and they got about 10k on them and the tread looks jus as good as when i got them...i beat the hell out of them too but i do rotate them every 5k they arent that loud compared to other mudders...i couldnt be happier with them besides the fact they suck *** in the snow while in 2wd

I had some 35" Claws. I liked them. They got great traction going forward and backwards but they lack sideways traction. And yes they are not a very good snow packed road tire.

I beat the crap out of them and they lasted about 25K. They would have made it to 30K if I would have left them on.

I'm leaning towards them again when I need new 38's.

i have a set of 325 60 18 baja claws and only had them for about 2k miles. they are pretty quiet for a mud tire.. alot quieter than my old mud grapplers. they pull alot better than mud grapplers imo but don't ride as good. i've seen some sets with 20k on them and still have over half tread left. i guess i'll just have to see how long these last.
