wheel offset?

ive got a 2008 fx4. im running a 2.5 leveling kit and a 3" body. im planning on running 35.12.50.20 mud grapplers. the only prob is i dont know what offset i need on a 20x10" wheel to prevent them from rubbing? im wantin them to stick out a little further than stock. but not too far out. i have the factory fender flares.

I'd want 6 inches of bs with a 10 inch wide wheel. That would make the wheel stick out 2 inches farther than the oem 17 and 18 inch wheels.

A 10 inch wide wheel with 4.6 inches of bs is gonna stick out about 3.5 inches farther than the OEM 17 and 18 inch wheels.

do you think i would have rubbing issues with that? or should i just drop that wheel and buy a 20x9 rockstar with a 4.5 bs which should only stick out 2" further than stock right?

Yes, you will probably have to trim some with those wheels. The 20x9's would be a better choice. A 9 inch wide wheel with 4.5 inches of bs will stick out 2.5 inches farther than the oem wheels. Personally, I'd go with a 9 inch wide wheel with 5 inches of bs.
