anyone running them? im starting to get out of the "drive my truck into a big mud hole and see what i can break" to more of a trail riding hobby so i dont need a insanely aggressive mud tire. ive found a new set of 285 70 17 for 630 installed. i was wondering if anyone had them and what kind of experience they had with them

I have them now and love them. I found mine on tirerack and the nwent and picked them up. I have the 285/70/17's also and they are a nice tire so far. I have had them in some light watery gumbo with a relatively hard bottom and they did fine. Cleaned well at med to high rpms and got me through. Also seem to do well when its wet and icy. I havent had them so couldnt say about the wear. I went through the same stage where I was tired of muddin hardcore and decided to go to a little less of a meat tire but still wanted an affordable tire that would all right on trails and hunting lease type mud. I have pics in my gallery.

My cousin is on his second set on his chevy 1500 and has been really pleased with them. Think his first set he got about 45k on. Also, the newer ones look a lot better, they have added some stuff on the sidewall to make them look tougher and more in line with some of the hot stuff .
