A lot of shaking

My front brakes are bad, known for a little bit, and been meaning to change them. Recently on a trip, when I would brake at higher speeds, my back end would shake/shudder. What is causing this shaking, and what should I replace?

Does it only happen when you hit the brakes or does it shake when you realease the throttle if the latter then you might want to have your rear seal checked out

my truck does the exact same! i think we need new rotors. i replaced my pads about a year ago and that helped. but im going to buy new rotors pretty soon. im going w/ drilled and slotted for better braking, cause i live in houston and we have ALOT of people who dont know how to drive so im gonna have better and shorter braking one i get them.
