I just switched to BFG's, but the Destinations had just over 40k km's on them. They all measured 12/32's tread depth. New they were 15/32's. So after 26k miles they still had 80% tread left. Not bad.

Thanks guys, I like the looks of those Firestone ATs also. I hade a set of 35-12.50 BFG AT KO's on my Cummins and they lasted good, but I didn't like the looks of them. They have been around a long time and work great but they just look dated to me. I will definatly shop around some more and look at Nittos also. So far I'm stuck between the Firestones, Bridgstone REVOs, and Yokohamas. I guess I'll see what I can get the best deal on.

Wouldn't LT tires last better and handle better, because they are stiffer/heavier?

I wouldnt exclude the nitto terra grapplers when your doing your shopping. Good tire for a good price. Mine are just broke in with 14k on em. There isnt a better tire imho for driving in inclement weather(snow, ice, rain). If you'll look in my gallery you'll see a lifted 4x4 toyota and a gmc behind me in the snow. They were behind me for a reason. I got tired of waiting on them...Just my .02
