How big can I go?

I am trying to find out how much tire my 2003 F150 SuperCrew Larait FX4 can handle without any modifications to the suspension or body lift.

Thanks for your help.

A 285x70x17 which is close to 33 inches tall will fit on the stock 17" wheel's, guessing that's what's on your truck.

Probably like a 305. I've got 35's on with a 3in Body Lift and had to trim very slightly on the lower skirt, but you can't really even tell that its been trimmed. With a 2.5 leveling kit you may be able to fit a 305.

If you have a 2005 4x4 leveled you can fit a 305x65x18 easily. a 35x12.5 will fit but you may have some rubbing on the control arm's. This is based on a stock Ford 18" wheel.

correct.
and to the OP, assuming you have 17" wheels a 285/70/17 would look great. also if you wanted something a little wider you could consider a 305/65/17

Im new here and im just wondering what the biggest tires i can run on the stock highboy suspension is.....? It has 265-75-16's on it right now. Its a 77 with the stock suspension, 4x4, 460 engine with 4 speed tranny.

Welcome to the site. You will get more responses if you start a new thread with your question rather than digging up aging threads.
