Smile Please Help Critique My Possible Tire Purchase

Hye all!

Please give me your honest opinion. Currently I have the "pretty boy gangsta", ridin on 22's look on my ride as you can see below

Their current specs I believe are 275/45/22 which comes out to roughly a 31.7" tire. As you can see from the pic, I have A LOT of tire/wheel well space that I want to fill in.

So that being that case, I'm looking for something a lil more hardcore and was looking at the BFG All-Terrain TA KO's to beef up the ride.

http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/specs...t-a-ko/44.html

I do have a 2.5" leveling kit and this is a 4x4 so I was looking to get the size of 315/70/17 which comes out to approx. 34.36". I know with a tire that large I would have to stay in the 8-9" wheel diameter which is not a problem as I already have my eye on some nice 17" all black American Racing wheels.

I have read good reviews on these tires, so if you guys would be so kind as to give me your input on whether this would be a smart buy (especially those who already have these tires), or whether I should run away, I would be GREATLY appreciative!

Thanks all

You can fit that tire using the oem 17 inch wheels or a 17x8 with 5.5 inches of backspacing. If you go with at wheel that has different specs you will have to go with a 33 inch tire.

Your truck screams "get me some bigger meat"...

Definitely fill up those wheel wells...with any tire.

That pretty much sums it up. Up to a 35x12.50 normally works fine on stock wheels or wheels that have close to stock specs. I would go with a 17x8 with 5.5 BS, as long as you don't plan to get a real lift in the near future.
